Montecampo - Amarone della Valpolicella Italie - Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG

Born in Milan in 1973, Stefano Ferrante studied at the University of Milan during his youth. Later, he resumed his studies at the Faculty of Oenology in Bordeaux. He then landed in New Zealand to work at the Daniel Schuster Wines Estate. After his return to Italy, he founded the Montecampo Estate in the Veneto region. This property is renowned for being one of those that produce the best wines in the country.

The grapes are half-dried in ventilated rooms, in tubs, for 120 days. The maceration is done for 7 to 8 days. Vinification takes place at low temperature. A slow fermentation then takes place between 4 to 6 weeks. The aging is then done in Slavonian oak barrels for 2 years.

With a garnet color, this balanced wine opens with notes of wild berries. It is majestic and velvety, richly fruity.

Serve this wine at 18°C. It goes perfectly with risottos and roasts.
