Harmony in power, a delicate fruitiness with aromas ofripe on well-melted tannins and a fleshy mouth. It is a wine which remains young, with a slow evolution and therefore a good aging potential.
Food and wine pairings Red meats, spicy dishes. Gascon, Béarnaise and Basque.
MadiranChâteau Bouscassé has belonged to the Brumont family for several generations. It comprises 50 hectares of large clay-limestone soil along the cliff of the commune of Maumusson-Laguian. This terroir is also humorously nicknamed "Le Pied de Côte de Saint-Emilion", because Tannat gives it a wine that has certain characteristics similar to the great wines of the right bank of Bordeaux: rigour, fine structure and long potential for guard.
