Chateau Carbonnieux White GRAVE CLASSIFIED GRAND CRU
AOP PESSAC - LÉOGNAN

Château Carbonnieux white is a legendary wine. It is said that in the 18th century it entered the Sultan of Constantinople, thanks to its great clarity, under the name of “Carbonnieux Mineral Water”, thus defying Koranic law.The clay-limestone soils of the Garonne gravel located in the Pessac-Léognan appellation undoubtedly produce the best dry white wines in the Bordeaux region. Young, the whites of Carbonnieux charm with their freshness, their purity and their aromatic intensity, both fruity and floral. As they age, they develop notes of dried and candied fruit that offer a wide range of gastronomic combinations. The batches that will enter this classified growth will be assembled in such a way as to induce a beautiful complicity between the grape varieties. The Sémillons selected will structure the vivacity of the Sauvignons by bringing roundness and volume in the mouth.Serving temperature: 12 – 14°Aging advice: 4 – 9 yearsFood and wine pairing: Any raw or cooked fish, shellfish, shellfish, foie gras, any poultry or white meat, sweetbreads, spiced dishes (curry, tajine, etc.), cheeses, fruit desserts, sorbet
