Fugue de Nénin, the second wine of the eponymous château, was created with the 1997 vintage. In music, a fugue is a repetition of the main theme: this is the case for this wine which is a more accessible version of its elder, but which expresses the spirit of Pomerol just as well.

Nice coffee nose. The wine is supple thanks to the Merlot, roundness, a little vegetal hint which gives freshness. Two thirds of the production was made into second wine. The wine was made with 90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and aged with 20% new barrels.
