Property of the Bignon-Cordier family (owner of Château Talbot) since 1999, Château Sénéjac is located in the town of Pian. The vineyard extends over 150 hectares on which 41 hectares of vines are cultivated.

The 41 hectares of vines located halfway between Bordeaux and Margaux are based on deep gravel typical of the Médoc region. The average age of the vineyard is 35 years and the average planting density is 6,600 vines per hectare. The grape varieties are as follows: 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit-Verdot.

The destemmed harvest is meticulously sorted to select the best berries. The vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats is carried out by plot and by grape variety. The aging lasts between 12 to 14 months in French oak barrels (including 30% in new barrels).

This Haut-Médoc is distinguished by a very expressive nose of black fruits and spices, a full and fresh mouth and silky and distinguished tannins. This wine, which has good aging potential, is recommended for all Médoc lovers.
