Château Gantonnet, built in the 19th century, is located in Sainte Radegonde, in the heart of the Entre-deux-Mers appellation, 20km from Saint-Emilion and 60km from Bordeaux. The 83 hectare estate is located at the highest point of the village, thus enjoying perfect exposure. Bought by the Richard family in 1962, the property has benefited from numerous investments such as a new vat room of good capacity in order to better work on the aromatic side of the wines. This vintage is the second wine of the Château. She won the bronze medal at the Bordeaux Competition (2018).
Winemaking
Maceration lasts 2 to 3 days before alcoholic fermentation. Then comes the post-fermentation maceration for around 10 days.+
Tasting
This wine has an intense purple color. Its still young nose opens with roasted notes with melted woodiness. Its mouth is powerful, ample and creamy
