This Côtes du Rhône Villages comes from the oldest vines of Domaine de la Renjarde, averaging 40 years old. The estate faces south, spread across three terraces nestled in the Mediterranean forest. The 51-hectare vineyard has been certified organic since the 2013 harvest.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested primarily by hand, at optimal ripeness, with sorting on a sorting table. The three grape varieties are co-fermented in tanks for a long maceration of approximately three weeks. Extraction is carried out using gentle methods to preserve the vibrancy of the fruit and the quality of the tannins. The wine is aged for nine months in stainless steel tanks on its fine lees.
Tasting Notes
This wine, with its deep red color, has an intense nose marked by aromas of red fruit and fragrant hints of garrigue and sweet spices. On the palate, it offers a silky texture and well-integrated tannins. Its finish remains delicate and balanced, full of deliciousness.
