Meursault Les Champs Lins by Vincent Girardin comes from a 1.05-hectare Premier Cru plot situated on deep, well-draining limestone soils. The carefully tended vines average over 30 years of age, contributing concentrated fruit and remarkable complexity. Hand harvesting ensures only the best clusters reach the cellar. Fermentation and aging take place in French oak barrels (25% new) for 12–14 months, imparting subtle spice and enhancing the wine’s structure without overpowering its vibrant fruit characteristics. On the nose, expect bright notes of green apple, pear, and white peach, layered with acacia blossom, wisteria, and a hint of toasted hazelnut. The palate is medium- to full-bodied, with a crisp backbone of citrus zest and mouthwatering acidity that frames a core of grilled almond and chalky minerality. The finish is long, textured, and impeccably balanced.
Serve Meursault Les Champs Lins at 11–12°C alongside lobster thermidor, grilled scallops with lemon butter, or creamy mushroom risotto. Decant briefly to reveal its full aromatic profile. Cellaring potential extends 8–12 years, offering further development of tertiary honeyed and toasty notes.
