The Regnaudot family has been making wine for four generations. Based in the heart of the village of Dezize, in the southern Côte de Beaune, Jean-Claude Regnaudot and his son Didier skillfully cultivate 6.5 hectares of vines between Maranges and Santenay.
Winemaking
Classic winemaking with punch-downs. Aged for fifteen months, 30% of which is in oak barrels.
Tasting Notes
A deep color. An intense nose of black fruit and blackcurrant, with toasty, cigar-box notes. Full-bodied and fleshy on the palate, it is supported by fine, well-integrated tannins and finishes with spicy oak notes.
Serving Suggestion
A fairly full-bodied Burgundy that pairs well with roasted or sauced red meats, veal tenderloin, and small game. Serve at around 16°C (61°F).
