Pinot Noir gives wines ranging from a fiery red color verging on dark purple, to vermeil. The aromas are those of very ripe red fruits, on a background of spices. With a little age, they become more complex, evolving towards confit and wild or hunting notes. Pinot Noir gives full and velvety wines, and well balanced between richness and tannins. These characteristics of course make Vosne-Romanée wines that will age well.
