The Sarrazin family owns a 35-hectare estate located in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, a few kilometers west of Givry. While its origins date back to the 17th century, its development is recent, thanks to Michel's efforts in the 1960s. They have chosen sustainable farming practices to limit chemical inputs and soil degradation.
Winemaking
The two Sarrazin brothers have opted for modern harvesting and winemaking techniques, using gentle vinification that enhances the wine's finesse. It is then aged for 12 to 18 months in oak barrels, sourced exclusively from the François Frères cooperage in Saint-Romain, which impart elegance to the wines.
Tasting Notes
Its color is yellow with green highlights. This wine is elegant and full-bodied with a lovely freshness, offering aromas of candied lemon with a subtle hint of oak. On the palate, it is rich, with toasty and vanilla notes.
Serving suggestion
It pairs perfectly with grilled fish, seafood platters, and winter vegetable terrines. Serve at 12°C.
