The communal appellations of the Côte de Nuits are, from north to south: Marsannay, Fixin, Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny, Vougeot, Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-Saint-Georges, without forgetting the Côtes- de-Nuits-Villages and the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits.It is in the Côte de Nuits that we find the main great red wines of Burgundy: Chambertin, Chambertin-Clos de Bèze, Mazis-Chambertin, Charmes-Chambertin, Ruchottes-Chambertin, Mazoyères-Chambertin, Griotte-Chambertin, Chapelle-Chambertin, Latricières-Chambertin, Clos de la Roche, Clos Saint-Denis, Clos des Lambrays, Clos de Tart, Bonnes-Mares, Musigny, Clos de Vougeot, Échezeaux, Grands-Échezeaux, Richebourg, La Grande-Rue, La Task, La Romanée, Romanée-Saint-Vivant and Romanée-Conti.
