DELIVERY TERMS
Shipping is free for all orders over €250, excluding any applicable discounts, within mainland France (excluding islands and hard-to-reach areas).
The delivery options below are not necessarily available at all times on the website. Some of them may be unavailable. The customer must choose from the options offered on the website.
For any delivery to an area considered difficult to access or remote by the carrier (including islands, mountainous regions, gated communities, etc.) resulting in additional costs, Javapublishing reserves the right to cancel the order, unless the buyer chooses to pay these additional costs.
Except in cases where free shipping is possible, the following delivery charges and terms apply:
UPS Standard France / FEDEX Delivery: Products are delivered within mainland France (excluding islands and areas designated as remote by the carrier) by UPS/FEDEX in compartmentalized cardboard packaging specifically designed for transporting wine bottles.
When placing your order, it is essential to provide the recipient's telephone number, any building access code, or any access restrictions.
For UPS/FEDEX orders, a tracking number may be sent to the recipient by email. This email is not from JAVAPUBLISHING but from a third-party provider. JAVAPUBLISHING will update the order status to "shipped" if this is the case.
If the buyer does not receive any information within 7 days of placing the order, they should contact JAVAPUBLISHING, which will provide all necessary information, including the carrier's tracking number (contact@javapublishing.com). Buyers who have not received any updates regarding their shipment 8 days after purchase must contact JAVAPUBLISHING. In the event of a return of a delivery refused by the buyer without just cause, or unclaimed, or undelivered due to insufficient information at the delivery address, or because the delivery address is inaccessible (entry code, secure perimeter, etc.), the buyer will be charged the actual delivery costs, as well as the cost of reshipping.
Buyers are advised that drop-off at a pickup point is one of the standard delivery methods and that such drop-off is not eligible for any claims. If the package is dropped off at a UPS Access Point, the buyer must collect it within 6 days of drop-off. If the package is returned because this deadline has passed, the buyer will be responsible for the actual cost of the return and reshipping. If the buyer prefers to cancel the order, the actual cost of the wasted shipping will be charged to the buyer and deducted from the refund.
The buyer must check the package and its contents upon delivery. They must refuse any package whose contents do not match their order and, at the very least, contact JAVAPUBLISHING immediately if they notice any discrepancies.
UPS Standard/FEDEX – UPS Access Point Delivery: Products are delivered within mainland France (excluding islands) by UPS in compartmentalized cardboard packaging specifically designed for transporting wine bottles. The ordered Products are delivered to a UPS Access Point selected by the buyer from the list provided during checkout, after selecting the UPS Standard/UPS Access Point option.
The UPS Standard/UPS Access Point Delivery fee is a flat rate of €10.85 per order in France, regardless of the number of Products ordered. This fee covers order preparation and packaging costs, as well as the shipping costs. A tracking number may be sent to the recipient by email. This email is not from JAVAPUBLISHING but from a third-party provider.
JAVAPUBLISHING will change the order status to "shipped" if applicable. If the buyer has not received any information within 7 days of placing the order, they should contact JAVAPUBLISHING, who will provide all necessary information, including the carrier's tracking number (contact@javapublishing.com).
The buyer must pick up their package within four days of receiving it from the UPS Access Point.
Buyers who have not received any updates regarding their shipment 10 days after purchase should contact JAVAPUBLISHING. In the event of a return of a delivery refused by the buyer without just cause, or not claimed, the buyer will be charged the actual shipping costs, as well as the cost of reshipping.
If the chosen pickup point is unavailable, the carrier may deliver the package to another pickup point within the network. The distance considered acceptable by the buyer is 15 kilometers (as the crow flies) from their home.
International shipments to the following countries: Germany, Norway, UK, Poland, Hungary, Greece, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Italy, Austria, Sweden, USA, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Taiwan, etc.
Standard delivery is provided by UPS/FedEx in a compartmentalized cardboard box specifically designed for transporting wine bottles. The buyer is responsible for ensuring compliance with any applicable domestic regulations affecting delivery terms. This includes any specific taxes on imported goods. The typical delivery time is 3 to 8 business days from the date JAVAPUBLISHING receives full payment for the ordered products. Orders placed over the weekend are generally collected the following Monday or Tuesday, provided the item is in stock. To facilitate contact with the carrier, it is strongly recommended that you provide a phone number when placing your order. The carrier, UPS/FedEx, will deliver the package(s) directly to the recipient, or, if the recipient is not present, will leave them at a UPS Access Point within the recipient's geographic area. A tracking number will be sent to the recipient by email, along with any other information necessary for tracking. If you do not receive such a message, JAVAPUBLISHING will provide you with this information (contact@javapublishing.com).
JAVAPUBLISHING reserves the right to suspend any delivery due to weather conditions and to avoid any risk of damage to the Products, and will inform the buyer as soon as possible.
The Products are transported at the buyer's risk. Upon receipt of the Products, it is the recipient's responsibility to check their condition and to make all necessary observations and claims in case of breakage, damage, or missing items, by noting their reservations on the delivery slip and, within the legal time limits, by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to the carrier, with a copy sent to JAVAPUBLISHING, in order to preserve their rights.
In the event of a delivery that does not conform to the order due to an error by JAVAPUBLISHING, and the buyer wishes to return the Product, they may request, within fourteen (14) calendar days of delivery, an exchange or refund of the Product(s) in question by contacting customer service in writing (email or letter). After reviewing the claim and receiving JAVAPUBLISHING's approval of its validity, customer service will indicate the procedure to follow. JAVAPUBLISHING will cover return shipping costs, the amount of which must be agreed upon in writing beforehand, and upon presentation of proof of payment.
In any event, delivery can only take place if the buyer has provided JAVAPUBLISHING with accurate delivery information. In case of error, JAVAPUBLISHING cannot be held responsible for the inability to deliver the Products.
