Givry AOP Red Wine - Burgundy

The family estate is located in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, a few kilometers west of Givry. While its origins date back to the 17th century, its development is recent, thanks to Michel's efforts in the 1960s. Today, his sons Guy and Jean-Yves manage a 35-hectare vineyard. The Sarrazin family has chosen sustainable farming practices to limit chemical inputs and soil degradation. In the vats and the cellar, where oak is omnipresent, the winemaking process is gentle, allowing for the development of both the finesse and the density characteristic of Burgundy wines.

Winemaking
The grapes are destemmed, and vinification takes place in temperature-controlled open vats for 28 days. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for 12 months.

Tasting Notes
This is an elegant wine, with vibrant red fruit aromas, beautifully integrated oak, and velvety tannins.

Serving suggestion
It is best enjoyed at around 15°C and pairs well with roasted and grilled meats, a beef fondue, capon, charcuterie, or cheeses such as Brie.
