Beaujolais wines

Odroda hrozna používaná na výrobu týchto červených vín, Beaujolais crus, je Gamay, ktorá nachádza svoje obľúbené pôdy v týchto terroir. Z Chardonnay sa tiež vyrába dôverná výroba bielych vín. Vinifikácia červených vín po ručnom zbere zahŕňa fázu macerácie hrozna v kadiach (5 až 7 dní) podľa metódy Beaujolais. To má za následok odkyslenie štiav a umožňuje ich ochutnať v ich najlepších rokoch, ako je to v prípade slávneho Beaujolais Nouveau. Všetky vína sú ovocné, svieže a vyznačujú sa vlastnou „druhovou“ osobnosťou, ale líšia sa podľa podmienok zrenia, ktorým prospievajú.
