Frédéric Magnien is the fifth generation of winemakers in his family. With experience abroad and a degree in oenology, he established his own winery as a négociant and winemaker in 1995. His vines are on average over 55 years old and are planted in limestone and stony soil with a touch of clay. Since 1996, every stage of the winemaking process has been guided by the lunar cycles. The subsoil is rocky, and the roots of the old vines draw from deep within it the essential minerals and elements that give this wine its distinctive character.
