Hautes Côtes de Beaune AOP Burgundy

Rooted in Pommard and Volnay for seven generations, the Delagrange family now owns 15 hectares, including an estate in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune. In 2017, the seventh generation arrived: Alexis, who honed his skills at Domaine Jacques Prieur in Meursault and worked in iconic New World vineyards, brought a fresh perspective while remaining deeply committed to the values of the terroir. The entire estate is farmed organically. The Hautes-Côtes vineyards cover 3 hectares planted with white grapes, at a density of 10,000 vines per hectare.

Winemaking
The grapes are destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks, with maceration lasting 15 days and controlled extraction. The wines are aged 30% in oak barrels and 60% in stainless steel tanks. They are bottled after 6 to 8 months of aging.

100% Pinot Noir
Flavor: Light and fruity
Alcohol: 13.5%

Tasting Notes: Aromas of Morello cherry, raspberry, and strawberry, with a hint of violet. On the palate, it is vibrant and luscious, with decidedly round and silky tannins. Simply a wine for pure enjoyment.

Serving Suggestions: Serve at around 16°C (61°F), with roast meat, grilled dishes, or even more sophisticated dishes such as chicken breast stir-fried with crisp vegetables (but not too much soy sauce), rack of lamb with Mediterranean vegetables, or roast quail with grapes.
