Wines from the Fleurie appellation

Wines from the Fleurie appellation. These wines are remarkably refined. The Gamay grape variety imparts a dominant aroma of red fruit, but the reds also offer floral notes (violet, rose, iris, or violet). They are structured, elegant, and harmonious, and therefore age well, especially when produced on clay soils.

Fleurie AOP Red Wine - Beaujolais

Château de Corcelles was rebuilt on the foundations of an ancient stronghold dating back to the Carolingian era. The Richard family acquired the property in 1984. The vineyard now covers 92 hectares. The Fleurie vines are between 30 and 70 years old. Located on granitic soil, the plots lie to the southeast and north of the village of Fleurie, near the Moulin-à-Vent appellation and its renowned Rochegrès terroir.
