Vineyard
The 1.57-hectare Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet vineyard is the only one of the four Grand Cru vineyards in the southern Côte de Beaune to be located entirely within the commune of Chassagne-Montrachet. At an altitude of 240 meters, it lies slightly lower than its neighbors, the Grand Cru vineyards of Chevalier-Montrachet and Montrachet.
Winemaking
Vinification in oak barrels. 100% malolactic fermentation. Aged for 10 to 12 months in new, medium-toast oak barrels.
Tasting Notes
Pale yellow color. Complex nose with floral notes of lilac and rose, accompanied by hints of lychee and toasted almond. The palate is ample and round, revealing aromas of lychee and vanilla. A persistent and refreshing finish.
